Innovative, Technologically Advanced SOLAS Marine Safety Lights 

The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) was established in 1974 and is one of the most important organisations in marine safety. They’re mainly concerned with the safety of merchant ships and associated equipment. 

Here at Aqua Spec we’re proud to produce the most advanced SOLAS marine safety lights in the world.

Among our products are ground breaking high performance LED life jacket lights in the AQ40 range. These offer more than 40 hours of performance, which is five times longer than the 8-hour minimum set out by SOLAS.

Our products have approval from many major organisations, including: MED (Marine Equipment Directive) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).

Among our range is the Aquaspec Morse Signal Torch which is designed to ISO 18813:2006 standards, making it ideal for life rafts and lifeboats. It can emit intense light for up to nine hours, making it ideal for attracting rescue teams. 

With its functional, simple and compact design, it’s easy to create Morse code using this torch.
